CMS Project Manager
Location: Washington DC.
The incumbent works on large scale Web projects to create, migrate or enhance public Web sites. S/he is the primary contact for clients, and serves as the conduit between the client and the Web teams which deliver solutions. Requires: - Strong analytical and project management skills, including the ability to interpret customer business needs and work with Web design and technical staff to translate them into application and operational requirements. - Must be able to identify, coordinate and manage stakeholders and resources for project and be perceived as a strong project leader. - The ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements, while maintaining a user focus for outcomes. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts. The incumbent also will use the content management system to post and manipulate content on the Web site. S/he also performs quality checks, and may troubleshoot Web sites and work with technical staff to resolve problems. The ability to successfully handle multiple initiatives simultaneously is critical. Must be comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment.
Minimum Technical Skill/Background: General experience with Web content production tools (Web editors, CMS, image editing, etc); 5 years using an established, large scale CMS (e.g., Communique, Vignette, Teamsite, etc); Photoshop; Microsoft Office Products. Information architecture and/or user experience work a plus. Business Skills: Minimum 5 years business experience. Web project management; client management; demonstrated leadership skills; strong writing and interpersonal communications skills.

This is a highly visible position acting as an SME to the overall business community. Excellent base, bonus, benefits package and a progressive, employee oriented culture. This is a permanent, direct hire position offering the opportunity to progress into areas of more responsibility. Location: Easily reached Northwest suburb Business Analyst will be primarily responsible for developing and supporting this organization's collaborative systems, including Microsoft Office SharePoint (MOSS), document imaging, the corporate Intranet, document management, and workflow applications. Working closely with business partners this position will identify and maximize opportunities to use information and technology to improve product, service and/or business processes. The role also requires broad technical skills and the ability to interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources to develop and implement solutions. Responsibilities Business Analyst provides subject matter expertise in Microsoft SharePoint 2007 to identify and translate business requirements into software architecture and design documentation. Business Analyst will review, analyze, and create detailed documentation of business requirements and user needs, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to enable collaborative solutions. Business Analyst will conduct user training and workshops, present in a group setting, and articulate policies in a professional manner. Business Analyst will coordinate effective communications with clients, team members and all levels of management. Seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships. Track trends in the industry and apply emerging technologies to solve business problems. Act as a visionary and strategist related to driving collaboration across the enterprise.
Requirements: Deep knowledge of Microsoft's Office SharePoint Server 2007 platform and supporting technologies is required. 7 -10 years experience in a business support role is required. 3 -5 years working with collaborative technologies is required. Experience designing and implementing document management and workflow technologies is required Experience with image capture and storage technologies is required. Experience successfully managing medium sized projects using a formal methodology. Understanding and design of taxonomies for customer organizations is required. Other highly desirable skills include: SQL Server 2005, Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Internet Information Server 6.0, Windows Workflow Foundation Education  Bachelor's degree preferred
